Tiger Woods
At one point, Tiger Woods was considered the best in golf and won an incredible 14 major tournaments over his career. That career is almost over. After injury problems in some tournaments and not making the cut in others. He is certainly done if not for a miracle with the afforementioned injury problems and a major resurgence
Kobe Bryant
Just like Woods, he was one of the best in basketball and the Lakers were perennial contenders, that has all changed as they are now 14th in the West as the core got older and management brought in older players to help. The old guys are gone or declining and Kobe is one of them. He is out the rest of the season and will probably retire at the end of the year
Vincent Lecavilier
Lecavilier was never the best, but at some points he was in the conversation. his play has steadily declined since 2004 though, and has been bought out by the Lightning due to poor play on a huge salary. He is now a Philadelphia Flyer, and will retire soon with a whole whack of money that hasn't been deserved since 2010.
3 Overrated Players in Sports
We've heard of all the types of overrated player, but fans of the player still think he is good and use the logic of the fact that he had this accomplishment how many times. I could use the same logic to say that Wilt Chamberlain is the best in the NBA right now because he had 100 points one game. Here are 3 of them

All of the players mentioned above were good, but are getting older. They may be getting paid more due to reputation that the player will always be the best. Fortunately for the players, they get a lot of money.
